so I just finished breadboarding a rat distortion pedal clone, and not surprisingly, it doesn't work--no sound is coming through whatsoever. Put it back together and tried again, same results. I am really going at this blind, so I'm probably making some really severe mistakes as far as layout goes, and that's the problem. my question: i forgot to order a few resister values from mouser, and so am replacing them with some similarly valued resisters as of now. would incorrect resister values be enough to fuck up the whole circuit? i'm pretty sure the answer to this question is "no," but i'm having trouble figuring out what else it could be.
