Hah, I feel kind of dumb now for wondering what the hell a bear with antlers means, I just thought it was some tripped out shit.

Yesterday I my day was pretty awesome for beer. I went to Mad River brewery and Six Rivers with a cave session on some isolated beach ruled by giant redwoods. I had a pitcher of Steel Head Extra Pale and two pitchers of the Jamaica Red Ale. I think I only had two IPAs at Six Rivers because I was pretty faded. So I don't really remember that one and I collapsed on my girlfriend I guess and it's funny because this is kind of a nice restaraunt/brewpub I smoked a shit ton of weed and drank a bunch of IPAs before I even went out on an empty stomach but the Mad River brews are some of the best in the world imo. The Extra IPA is pretty mellow and tastes so smooth, perfect day time brew. It is so cool drinking dank ass shit on tap and smoking unlimited amounts of herb. WP you gotta make it up here some day, I don't think you would regret it.

I get trapped in weed hell if I smoke and drink simultaneously. Sounds like a pretty killer weekend though.

Last night I split a 6 pack of Monarch from Two Brothers with my girlfriend (shitty Wit beer) but ended on a high note with some Lowlife "tropical" style (as advised by Putrescine), and now this morning I'm waking up to a Dark Horse Perkulator Coffee Dopplebock. Pretty serious coffee beer.

That happens to me too when I haven't smoked/drank for a while. It's funny because your like I have been sober for a while how about I drink a gang of brews and smoke ten joints.... I think that feeling is as close to purgatory as a person can get because the two drugs compliment each other in such an overwhelming fashion that you feel like you are going to have a cardiac arrest, kill who ever is next to you or puke til you die. I've combined many drugs but beer and weed can be a gnarly combo if the user is intolerant.

Speaking of which, I went to lost coast with my buddy today. We got two pitchers of the seasonal India Pale Ale. That is such a great beer, I wish they sold their seasonals. I must say that these beers are amazing but my fucking kidneys hurt so fucking bad, especially when I skate. I went skating today and I went to ollie this gap and my back was super tight and I just slammed hard as fuck into this space between a stop sign and the gutter. Does anyone else ever get kidney pain from excessive drinking? It's from dehydration, when I go on benders I usually just fall asleep with a beer at my side and pop one open when I wake up, my body can't process the alcohol fast enough. I need to find a balance some where so I don't suck at life.

I've decided to quit drinking for a month. At day 25 now and I'm feeling good, alert, healthy, saved money, lost some weight but damn I would love a beer...I mainly quit because I was drinking too much and it wasn't fun anymore and was more of a habit than anything, and I wanted to do it as a test that I'm not dependant on alcohol.
